Second grade students enrolled in the computer and electrical technician courses at the Obrtnička škola Koprivnica visited University of Rijeka’s supercomputer Bura at the Center for Advanced Computing and Modeling on the Open Day of University Departmentss on April 9, 2019. Dr. sc. Vedran Miletić gave a presentation during which students had the opportunity to find out the characteristics and performance of the supercomputer as well as for which scientific and commercial purposes it is being used. Afterwards, they visited the data center where the supercomputer Bura is located. The students showed interest and asked numerous questions.
